Kopis Sword Blade Material
The swords and knives are out of Pattern Welded Damascus steel. Pattern weld Damascus steel can be described as a tough thermally treated carbon steel folded. 11 PCS of the steel folded five times. and 352 layers. Damascus steel offers the perfect combination of durability and hardness with the Rockwell hardness rating ranging from 55-56 HRC. The carbon steel that we employ is 1095 steel, which is the highest carbon steel that is used in Kopis.
