Two Arrested In Double Stabbing At Veterans Memorial Housing Development | The Woonsocket Call

The victim told police he did not want to get in a fight, but one of his friends went after Carasquillo, who pulled out a red folding knife with the tip forged into a hook. The victim told police his father witnessed the fight and rushed over to try to disarm Carasquillo. As father and Carasquillo fell to the ground, the son tried to pull his father away to prevent him from being stabbed. While attempting to help my father Indio was slashing the knife and cut two of my right hand fingers and one of my left hand fingers, the victim told police. Upon getting up, my father realized he had been stabbed in the chest by Indio. The son continued fighting with Carasquillo, who was no longer armed at this point. As he did so, Vega allegedly emerged from a nearby apartment, armed with a kitchen knife. Pulling on his sweatshirt, Vega twice tried to stab him in the back, but she was unsuccessful.
