Wareham police stopped the car of Jordan Fontes, 24, of Onset, at 1:40 p.m. Friday after receiving information he had been involved in a suspected drug transaction in another part of Wareham. During the vehicle stop, officers noted the strong smell of marijuana coming from the car as well as the presence of two folding knives, according to police. A search of the vehicle revealed approximately 11 ounces of marijuana, a .380-caliber handgun, six rounds of ammunition and an ammunition clip.
