It might sound weird that I lived for 20-something years experiencing this and wondering if I was the only one. It wasnt that weird. I had experienced it since I was a child, and it didnt happen that often. Id never met anybody else with ASMR, and until about a year ago, I had never spoken about it with anyone. Like many of the ASMRtists I interviewed, I remember feeling the sensation from a very young age. It was an occasional thing that occurred once or twice per year, but something easily recognizable.
