We’re going to have F-16’s, we will have an MQ-1 predator on display, which we have never done before, Vega said. We’ll have B-1 bad B-52 and the aircraft will be available to go up inside and see the interior, which is unique and something you don’t normally get to do. Capt. Denison businesses welcome new teachers | Herald Democrat

1. Grilled Cheezus Grilled Cheezus is an electric sandwich or panini press that toasts the face of Jesus onto your bread. The project exceeded its $25,000 goal by a modest $604, which wasn’t enough to reach any stretch goals (stretch goals are additional features project creators will often add to encourage more funding), but if backers who forked over $35 and up for the toaster choose the right cheese, their sandwiches will be plenty stretchy already. 2. Coolest Cooler The Coolest Cooler starts out as an ice chest, but adds a whole bunch of stuff, such as a blender, a waterproof Bluetooth speaker, a USB charger, a storage bin for plates and knives and a bottle opener.

8 Crazy Kickstarter Campaigns That Actually Got Funded – Yahoo News

Thats why the Denison Chamber of Commerce organized a new teacher luncheon Wednesday, giving Denison Independent School Districts 47 new teachers and aides food, gifts and encouragement. We are welcoming these teachers into our community, said Chamber President Anna McKinney. Its a really neat way for us to say thank you for what they are going to do for us. The thank you came in the form of a free lunch, gift bags and door prizes ranging from teaching supplies to folding knives. McKinney said Denison businesses came together to make sure every new teacher got a door prize. Denison just takes you in like a family, said first-year teacher Cherish Neal. My team has already contacted me, come by my classroom, asked if they could help. A Tom Bean native who just graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University, Neal will take on a classroom of third graders next month. Im so eager, Neal said.
