Outdoor Survival Part IV, Your Knife

My gear is made of many home made items and refurbished old items that probably should have been replaced ages ago. But when I look at a piece of equipment I can’t help but remember all the outtings it has seen me through. A knife however is one piece of equipment in whihc I will make an extra investment if it’s necessary. As I mentioned before, there isn’t an item in your pack (or on your belt in this case) more likely to aid in your survival of a bad situation than your knife.
